It is quite difficult to process deep hole threads on special material parts. For example, deep hole tapping on a titanium alloy part can be very challenging. If the scraping effect caused by a damaged tap on a nearly completed part results in the part being scrapped,it is very uneconomical. Therefore,to avoid scraping,it is required to use the correct cutting tools and tapping techniques.

Biomedical materials are an important branch of materials science, which are new carrier materials with high technological content and economic value used for diagnosis, treatment,or replacement of human tissues, organs,or enhancement of their functions. They are a developing new field in materials science and technology.Biomedical materials make greater contributions to exploring the mysteries of human life and ensuring human health and longevity.
This is high-purity titanium obtained by the iodide method, hence it is called iodine method titanium,or chemically pure titanium. However, there are still interstitial impurities such as oxygen, nitrogen, and carbon, which have a significant impact on the mechanical properties of pure titanium. As the purity of titanium increases, its strength and hardness significantly decrease. The characteristic is that the chemical stability is good, but the strength is very low.
In 1791, British pastor W. Gregor discovered a new metallic element in black magnetite. In 1795, German chemist M.H. Klaproth also discovered this element while studying rutile and named it after the Greek god Titans. In 1910, American scientist M.A. Hunter first reduced TiCI with sodium to produce pure titanium. In 1940, Luxembourg scientist W.J. Kroll reduced TiCl with magnesium to produce pure titanium. From then on, the magnesium reduction method (also known as the Crowe method) and the sodium reduction method (also known as the Hunter method) became industrial methods for producing sponge titanium. In 1948, the United States produced 2T sponge titanium using magnesium reduction method, which has since reached industrial production scale. Subsequently, the United Kingdom, Japan, the former Soviet Union, and China also entered industrial production, with the main titanium producing countries being the former Soviet Union, Japan, and the United States.
Titanium is a very active metal with a low equilibrium potential and a strong thermodynamic corrosion tendency in the medium. However,in reality, titanium is very stable in many media, such as oxidizing, neutral, and weakly reducing media, which are corrosion-resistant.This is because titanium and oxygen have a great affinity.
